A ropes course is a challenging outdoor personal development and team building activity which usually consists of high and/or low elements. Low elements take place on the ground or only a few feet above the ground. High elements are usually constructed in trees or made of utility poles and require a belay for safety. Ropes challenge courses can be seen as the ultimate group or team challenge.

Tension Traverse

Wild Woozie

Two members of your group physically and mentally support one another as they attempt to traverse the length of two diverging cables tautly strung between three trees. This challenge provides an excellent opportunity for the group to encourage and advise each other as they attempt the task.

Mohawk Walk

Success in this unusual problem relies your group’s ability to communicate effectively and work together. The aim is to move from start to finish along a series of tautly strung cables between trees, using a combination of hand ropes and suspended ‘vines’ to maintain balance. To generate additional excitement and group interaction your group may be asked to carry an object or members of the group might make the walk blindfolded

Spiders Web

To successfully complete this task your group must pass through various shaped holes in a human-sized spider’s web without touching any of the web strands. Once an opening is used, that opening is then closed to the rest of your group. This challenge requires a great deal of cooperation, trust, and "start to finish" planning to enable your team to successfully complete the challenge.
